The website has changed domain reg. into armandassante.net which does´nt make it any better. It might change further in the future.
As we are aware ? Armand Assante Inc. has 2 employees and has to do with Armand Assante's productive farm.
The creator behind the fraud tryes to make us believe that Johnny Arreola from Vision Films made it.
Compare it with the very proffessional work Johnny Arreola made for Vision Films. A very handsome and well organized website.

Fraud website and fake profiles
(The so called Official Armand Assante Website)
The man behind it...also behind other fakes.
Identity forgery
Some allready know others don't, but I have been confronted with several fake Armand Assante profiles on wellknown forums as, Facebook, MySPace and Twitter.

In this specific case we learned that the man behind this fraud website also was identical with the man behind the MySpace profile we warned about May, 2009. Further more he figured behind several internet websites showing Armand Assante Filmography's and photos covered with advertisings (pay per click-type) non of these informations were completed.
From some of these website links went to his MySpace profile for Armand Assante and other inappropiate pages he had created.
The purpose of them all are money. You search for info about Armand Assante and enter one page after another, with no fullfilling News nor Filmography and the person that uploaded it,...hope to earn money for any click you might accidently make at some advertising...
As well as the News/Sightings page at the Fraud Website invited you to inform the right owner of that page to report Armand Assante's latest's whereabouts.
No fan in their right mind would ever do a thing like that.
A true fan respect Armand Assante's privacy and would never say or do anything that might create hearsay nor gossip.
"The bait" was in this case that you as a fan apparently could become a member of Armand Assante's Official Social Network (Frontpage indicated a Twitter Profile) the purpose of this, was of totally different reason...!!
In spite of this...fans still entered the page and made comments..without thinking of the consequences, not even for their own security.
Think before you act !!!!. Any celebrities name and integrity are abused by these fake wanna-bees every day.
Some Profiles are that obvoius fakes, that I choose to do nothing about it.
Others looked so authenthic I immediatly informed Armand Assante about it.
They either disappeared shortly after or put up a disclaimer, that it had nothing to do with him in any way and was just a fanpage.
It usually take 4 days before the effect of such information is visible in this case it took about 20 days.
I´m just another ordinary fan and have no opportunity to inform Armand Assante any faster, than any other fan in the world. An express mail has been posted.
Identity forgery is sadly very common. It´s major problem.
But they keep comming up as we speak.
Please, please be carefull out there !

She allready had bumped into a George Cloney wanna-be that afterall admitted he was'nt him...as she first got in contact with him.
She chatted with "Armand" as well and he was very kind. "Armand" never admitted he was´nt Armand.
I told her back then that I could'nt tell from the information whether it was him or not because there was'nt much of it back then.
But I had a very strong feeling it was'nt him...could'nt set my finger on it, thou.
It just felt wrong.
Yet there was a small anomali: Last time "Armand" was logged on, was the day he started on set in Grand Rapids with the "Steam Exsperiment". I took a screendump of it and sended it to Armand in November last year. If it was'nt him...it was also up to him..whether to do something about it or not...!

Both passengers and the taxidriver was killed instantly.
The the young director had allready had a prommising carrier instructing and directing moovies in Romania as he started producing the movie: "Calfornia Dreamin'" early this spring with Armand Assante in the leading part as the characther Cpt. Doug Jones.
Armand loved working with him and they became good freinds.
The shooting of the movie seems ended and the editing in progress, as this horrible accident happend.
A car drew with 150 Km/h into the site of the taxi.
Our deeb thoughts and condolences goes to family and close freinds of all the vitims in the car accident, as well as the entire artistic team that worked close to Cristian Nemscu just recently making the movie: "California Dreamin'".

We haven't heard anything about the production of this movie for a long time...it might not become of anything...??
The film is a joint project of Kazakhstan, USA and Russia and its budget is assessed as USD75 million.
The movie will be shot in Astana, as well as in New York, Miami and Moscow.
"This film is about fight of Kazakhstan, Russia and America with drug and people traffic," says the producer.
